    Our group walks take place across two local, fully secure dog fields, giving the dogs plenty of space to run, sniff, explore and play in a safe environment.

  • Yes, your dog will need to be assessed before joining the Barney Bus, but we make the process relaxed, friendly and stress-free.

    We’ll arrange an initial meet with you and your dog at a location that suits you “preferably where your dog will be picked up from”. This gives us the chance to get to know your furry friend, learn a little about their personality and needs, and allow them to hop onto the Barney Bus for a good sniff around and become familiar with their new surroundings.

    Once the initial meet is complete, you’ll be able to book your dog onto one of our trips. We’ll continue the assessment during their first adventures, making sure they’re comfortable travelling on the bus, happy around the other dogs and settling into the pack.

    Your dog’s comfort, happiness and safety are always our priority. We want every dog to associate the Barney Bus with something exciting, positive and fun — from the moment they hop aboard to the moment we drop them back home. 🐾🚐💚

  • We proudly cover the Carmarthen area, and can also offer pick-up and drop-off from surrounding areas for a small additional fee. 🐾🚐

    If you’re just outside Carmarthen, please get in touch — we’ll be happy to let you know if the Barney Bus can come to you! 💚

  • We do take both neutered and un-neutered dogs , While we generally prefer dogs in our care to be neutered, we understand that this may not always be appropriate due to a dog’s age, health or individual circumstances. Un-neutered dogs may be accepted on a case-by-case basis following an initial assessment, taking into consideration their temperament, behavior and suitability within the group.


  • We prefer all dogs in our care to be fully vaccinated wherever possible. However, we understand that every dog’s circumstances are different. Dogs who are not fully vaccinated may still be accepted following an individual assessment, taking into consideration the safety and wellbeing of all dogs in our care.

  • To ensure a safe, happy and enjoyable environment for everyone, dogs joining our group walks must be comfortable in the company of other dogs and not display aggressive behaviour towards them. Each dog is considered individually to ensure they are a suitable fit for the group.

  • Yes, our bus is insured , we have dog walking insurance and public liability.

  • No, you don’t need to be home when we collect your dog. Our team members are fully DBS checked, giving you extra peace of mind when allowing us access to your home.

    For added security and reassurance, our staff wear body-worn CCTV when entering your property. We completely respect your privacy, so if you would prefer CCTV not to be used inside your home, simply let us know and we’ll be happy to accommodate your request.

  • We use two fantastic, safe and secure dog fields: Pupstars Paddock and Pleasant Meadows. Both offer plenty of space for the dogs to run, play and explore freely. 🐾

  • Of course , we will do our utmost to ensure your dog is dropped off clean , we will provide a wipe down and paw wash when needed.

  • All dogs MUST wear there own properly fitted harness while traveling with us.
